Amy Joy Smith
May 2020❤ Amy Joy ❤
The songs which accompany the familiar slideshow speak to who Amy was at her core as a mother and a caregiver to hundreds of children over the years.
Amy was a childcare worker, camp sponsor, Sunday School teacher, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and a grandmother who took special interest and care in the children of her brothers and sisters, her sibling’s children’s children and, when she could, her granddaughter.
Today, Let’s celebrate the life, the legacy, and the love Amy gave to all of us.
Love to all,
Greg
“An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls. … Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.”
Proverbs 31:10, 30 (Amp)
PS – The slideshow isn’t new, though I have found different music paints the pictures in a different light. I hope to have other slide shows as I am able to enjoy with other pictures I’ve found, been given, or not used in this slide show. Feel free to submit photos via my email or mail. That said, it’s hard not to continue to enjoy Amy’s facial expressions, smiles, and laughter in the photos above.
